Yreka Community Center
The Community Center is located at 810 N. Oregon Street and is leased to Madrone Hospice Monday – Friday until 4:30 p.m. each day. Madrone provides a variety of services through the Madrone Senior Services Program. These services are provided at no charge to individuals over 60 years of age thanks to donations, assistance from the City of Yreka, PSA2 Area Agency on Aging, and the California Department on Aging. For information regarding the Madrone Senior Services Program please contact Madrone Senior Services at (530) 841-2365.
The Community Center is available to rent for meetings and parties Monday – Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 12 am. The maximum seating/service capacity for events is 261 occupants. Please see forms at right for more information, or send us an e-mail by selecting “contact us” at the bottom of this page.
Yreka Community Theater
The Yreka Theater is the premier location for presentation of artistic talents as well as an ideal setting for seminars and ceremonies.
With auditorium seating for 304 people, a spacious stage and lighting and sound systems, the Theater will make your presentation a production to remember! The Yreka Theater is available to accommodate all manner of bookings - dance, concerts, theater, civic meetings, trade shows, conferences and seminars.

From I-5, take the north Yreka Exit #776 (Yreka/Montague), turn west and proceed to the first Stop sign (Main St.). Proceed straight through the intersection one block to the next Stop sign (Oregon St.). Turn right on Oregon St (north). One block ahead Oregon St. ends at the Community Center & Theater. The Community Center is the building to the east and the Community Theater is the building to the west.
The main parking lot is on the left and there is additional parking as well as handicapped parking on the north side of the building. To reach the additional parking, the loading dock for the Center and the loading dock for the Theater, proceed to the end of Oregon St, turn left (west, your only turn option) and turn right down the driveway between the west side of the Theater and the High School tennis courts. Turn right and proceed along the west side of the building, towards the rear of the Theater, right next to the loading dock. To access the loading dock for the Center, proceed around the north side of both buildings and to the east side of the Center.
