The event is May 17th through May 19th, 2024. There are 6 different rides. All rides start and finish at Upper Greenhorn Park, on Greenhorn Rd. In Yreka. There will be an end of ride meal catered and served between 11am and 4pm on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday. Beer will be available for purchase at the park both days. Event T-shirts are available for $25 each.
104 Miles- all pavement on 5/18 $75.00
This route has 6,003 ft. in elevation gain. Incredible scenery. It starts and ends at Upper Greenhorn Park, starting at 7am on Saturday May 18th. with police escort through Yreka. This is the old traditional Siskiyou Century which goes over Forest Mt. into and through Scott Valley and back over Gazelle Mtn. 5 rest stops. All pavement. Meal and entertainment at the finish.
67 Miles- all pavement on 5/18 $65.00
This is our metric century with 2,302 ft. of elevation gain. Slightly different and in reverse of last year's route. It starts at Upper Greenhorn Park at 8am on Saturday May 18th with a police escort through town, goes south to Edgewood, then back through Shasta Valley. There are 4 rest stops, with lots of food. Meal and entertainment at the finish, and lots of beer.
40 Miles- all pavement on 5/18 $45.00
Starts at Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka at 10 am on Saturday May 18th with a police escort through town. Winds through beautiful Shasta Valley with 3 rest stops at Little Shasta Church and the Montague Railroad Park, coming and going. End of ride meal with beer and entertainment at the finish. 1534 ft. of elevation gain. Gorgeous views of Mt. Shasta.
21 Miles- all pavement on 5/18 $25.00
Some hills with 1,055 ft. of elevation gain. Starts at 10 am at Upper Greenhorn Park on Saturday May 18th with a police escort through town. One rest stop at the Montague Railroad Depot Museum. End of ride meal, beer and entertainment at the park.
*Mother Lode 63 Miles- mostly gravel on 5/19 $75.00.
63-mile gravel ride on Sunday May 19th, starting at 9am, to Cram Gulch, over Scarface to Ft. Jones, then over Greenhorn Summit and back to the park. Very challenging. 6,474 ft. Elevation gain. Great scenery! Rest stops, sag wagons, end of ride meal and beer for purchase. A favorite of JMBA. Riders from 2023 said it's the best kept secret in gravel rides on the West Coast.
*Fool's Gold 39 Miles- mostly gravel on 5/19 $45.00.
This is a mostly gravel 39-mile route with 3 steep hill climbs over Greenhorn Summit and back over a slightly different route. You will be challenged. 3 rest stops- at the summit either way and in Fort Jones. 4,115 ft. of elevation gain. Sag wagon support. End of ride meal and entertainment and beer for purchase. Starts at 9am on Sunday May 19th from Upper Greenhorn Park.
