1. Application Preparation
The Universal Planning Application Forms are required documents for all applications. The initial application preparation stage includes a mandatory pre-application meeting with the City to initially review your project and address any project or form specific questions. Payment of application fees is not required to complete the Pre-Application Form and schedule a pre-application meeting.
Prior to submitting, please review and complete each form to ensure all text and signatures have been addressed. You may wish to review the application fees which will be due at the time of application submittal. 3. Project Submission
The City adopts a fee schedule on an annual basis. Please determine your application fees by viewing the Fee Schedule and be prepared to make the necessary payment with your project application.
Once all necessary forms, checklists, documentation, and plan set sheets have been complied, you are ready to submit to the department. Please note that a submission to the Planning Department does not constitute an approved project.
Applications may be submitted in person at City Hall 701 4th Street, Yreka, CA 96097. City Hall is open Monday through Thursday 8:00AM to 12:00PM and 1:00PM to 5:00 PM. Special accommodations can be made for Friday submission by calling (530) 841-2324 or emailing email@example.com.
