Biography
I am a lifelong resident of Yreka, my family among the first settlers of the Little Shasta Valley. I attended school in Yreka, and graduated from Yreka High School. My first job was at Yreka Auto Parts, where I worked for 14 years. In 1999, I left the store to open my own cabinet shop.
For the past 17 years, I have owned and operated Kegg's Kreations in Yreka. It has grown from a small business that I ran by myself, to a thriving business with several employees. In 2013, I opened the Siskiyou Builders Exchange to help local contractors/businesses find area projects while helping customers find local contractors and businesses.
Community Involvement
I have watched our city change over the decades, and I am excited to help guide Yreka into the future. I believe there are many things that can be done to address the issues our city faces, to help it grow stronger, while maintaining its small-town spirit. That is why I served on the Yreka Chamber of Commerce board of directors for 4 years, and then served for 2 years on the Yreka Planning Commission. I am excited for this chance to help Yreka grow in new and positive ways.
