Burning Is Allowed in City Limits
Call (530) 842-8123 for burn days and burning requirements.
Effective October 27, 2017 burning within the City limits is allowed only on an allowed burn day during daylight hours in 3' x 3' x 3' piles with a burn permit obtained from Yreka City Hall.

Due to the good precipitation over the winter Governor Brown has ended the drought State of Emergency in most of California. The City is now able to ease water restrictions.
