City of Yreka Employment Opportunities
Employment opportunities for the City of Yreka are overseen by the Administration and Finance departments at City Hall. Our goal is to attract motivated and skilled employees with competitive salaries and wages and a comprehensive benefit package. However, due to the small size of our city and staff, permanent positions are not commonly available. Seasonal and temporary positions may be available in the summer or winter months.
Applications are only accepted by mail or in person when there is an open position, at which time applications are collected and an interview schedule set for the most qualified applicants. The interview process includes the administration, department head and hiring manager. Our goal is to eliminate any hiring bias and find the most qualified candidate for the position.
