A business license is an annual tax for doing business within the City of Yreka. Yreka Municipal Code requires that you obtain a license when you conduct any business activity within the City limits - even if your business is located outside the City limits or you have a business license from another city. City of Yreka Annual Business License Fees
Effective January 1st, 2013
A state fee of $1 has been added to Business Licenses, effective January 1st, 2013, as part of SB 1186. This $1 fee is for the Certified Access Specialist program (CASp), which is designed to improve Americans with Disabilities Act compliance. Learn more about SB 1186.
|Business License Fee - Business located within City Limits||$31.00 annually|
|Business License Fee - Business located outside City Limits||$46.00 annually|
|Retail Merchants License Tax||$31.00 first year - 2nd year fee based on gross receipts|
|Motels and RV Parks License Fee||$31.00 up to 5 rooms, additional rooms/spaces are $1.80 each|
|Home Occupation Permit||$75 one time fee, plus annual business license fee|
|Peddlers/Vendors/Solicitors||$5.00 per day|
