My name is Corey Middleton, I was born and raised in Yreka, and I am the 4th generation of a Siskiyou County pioneer family and attended local schools. In 2003 I moved to Sacramento and returned home in 2017 to live near my parents, who live just outside town, where I was raised on the same property they purchased in 1972.
As a self-employed realtor, this is my 25th year in business, receiving my salesperson’s license in 1995 and my broker’s license in 2006. I own my home in the upper west area of Yreka with my three “fur kids“ Oreo, Oso, and Sadie. I advocate for and support our local animal shelters, as two of my dogs are rescues.
I served on the City Planning Commission for 18 months, was past president of the Sierra Vista homeowners assoc., I’m currently on the board of Friends of the Fair, and volunteer with their fundraising efforts. I support many youth and nonprofit organizations in our community.
As councilman, I look forward to working for Yreka citizens and being a voice for positive change and moving the city forward. We can progress as a viable city but preserve the small-town quality of life. I believe we will overcome these challenges with hard work, determination, and ingenuity to achieve great things for Yreka.
